Hellloooo again…

Like pretty much everyone else in the world, I am an Instagram addict. I am currently following 340 people, and most of them are Makeup Artists. The Makeup Artist talent on Instagram is insane and inspiring, and these artists being able to share their work on Instagram has created incredible opportunities for them and opened up a ton of doors in the beauty industry.

I mentioned in my previous post that most of the work I do is bridal, which of course I love, but doesn’t always allow me to be incredibly creative. Scrolling through Instagram and seeing all these amazing and creative looks by some of my favourite artists (listed after photos) has been inspiring me lately to get a bit creative with my own face. This look is definitely more natural and is similar to something I would do for a bride, but I liked it and wanted to share it! The sandwich eye (dark in the inner and outer corners and light in the middle) is currently my favourite eye look and I have been doing it a lot!

I did this look to go for dinner with a few girlfriends. I love the combination of these eye shadows with the lip. A bright spring look!
